How are the Headphones connected to the iPhone? I will guess they are connect via Bluetooth and have their own mic until confirmed otherwise.
There is probably an issue with the headphone’s mic. So what I suggest you do is look online for a user manual for the headphones, and see if you can locate a troubleshooting section.
If none can be found, reach out to the vendor/company of the headphones to discuss further troubleshooting options.
Alright I suggest you take the advice of my previous post and reach out to the vendor/manufacturer of the devices that don’t work as expected, and explain the problem to them.
