How can I restore Music files from Trash to their original folder on Mac?

Here is what happened: I am about to put all my CDs on my Apple Music library. All the sudden appeared an “unnamed folder” containing all sorts of audio files in complete disorder. I wanted to delete this folder: A message appeared asking me if I wanted to delete the songs (it assured at the same time that all the uploaded songs would remain in their original folder on my computer!!!). I hit delete and now I have 3400 audio files in the trash and all the corresponding folders are empty!!!

I naturally followed the usual advice to right-click on those files and to hit the “put back” option.

But as a bad surprise this option is not available!

Please help!

Ps: I am a true believer in Mac since the days of the Mac Plus. Apple Music has always been a pain to manipulate (splitting uploaded folders etc.) but if this can’t be solved I will move away from that… definitely.
