Can I recover hidden photos and videos on my new iPhone?

Hello, chmajid! To recover hidden photos through the Photos app,

1. Open photos
2. Scroll to hidden
3. Unlock with Face ID
4. Click Select on the top right
5. Choose the photo(s) you want to be recovered
6. click the three dots in a circle (bottom right)
7. look until you see Unhide (has a icon of an eye)

If you have a backup of the iPhone in iCloud or locally in a Mac or Windows PC, or if you have the photos stored in iCloud Photos, then the photos will be available.

If the hidden photos were stored in a third-party app, then you’ll need to reinstall that third-party app as part of the recovery from your backup, and you’ll want to check with the third-party app provider if there are issues with the third-party app.
