I have an old Ipod touch. The battery is going. I purchased an old Iphone. I want to transfer my music from my old Ipod to my Iphone. I plug in my Ipod, music shows up in Itunes, but I cannot see the music files in Windows Explorer. Help!

Ok, once I've recovered/downloaded the music to my PC, I can then transfer it to my Itunes, and then upload/transfer to Iphone?
I'm sorry. You are helpful but also very confusing for me. Do I have to pay for the IExplorer? And will it walk me through how to back up the files/library?
