Apple Music distortion over Bluetooth
I picked up a pair of IsoTunes Air Defender Bluetooth headphones today for working in loud areas. When I connect it to my iPhone 14 Pro and use Apple Music, the audio is distorted and about twice as loud as it should be.
I've connected the headphones to my Mac mini and got clear audio both over bluetooth and wired.
I've checked other apps and found that YouTube and Spotify both produce clear audio. The problem is specifically with Apple Music sending an overdriven Bluetooth signal while other apps are behaving appropriately.
I've restarted both the iPhone and headphones, I've deleted the pairing and repaired. Apple Music is still overdriving the Bluetooth signal while other streaming apps are not.
As for settings, I've got Hi-Res Lossless enabled and am able to use it with other Bluetooth devices with no issue. I have tried dropping the quality to "High Quality" and had no improvement. EQ and Sound Check are both OFF. Headphone Safety is also OFF.
