Why won't AirPlay stream for Podcasts on my MacBook Pro?

I have a problem that many have described and it does not seem an answer was provided. AirPlay doesn't work from Podcasts from my MacBook Pro, but it does with Music, on in Podcast when using an iPad or an iPhone. On the MacBook Pro, I play the podcast, I click on Airplay, I choose any speaker by ticking it, but the sound continues to play through the computer. Any clue?

Airplay not working in Music app on M1 Mac running Ventura 13.3.1 Hi all. I'm running a 13" M1 MacBook Pro (2020) on Ventura 13.3.1. Whenever I try to use Airplay to ANY Airplay speaker through the Music app, there is no audio. I've tried Airplay to a Sonos Move, Sonos Roam, and an Apple TV. No audio whenever connected to any of them. Audio works fine through the Mac speakers (or any other connected wired speaker), AND I can Airplay when I change the speaker through System Settings. It's just Airplay through the Music app that results in no audio. Using the Sound menu in System Settings is a workaround, but that does not allow Airplay to multiple speakers (and will send all the system sounds through the speaker where music is playing). Has anyone else seen this issue?

Apple Music not connecting to Airplay device I've just updated Monterey with the latest security updates ver 12.6.4, as a result I can no longer connect to my Airplay speakers from Apple Music. When I choose the Airplay icon in Music it still plays through the internal speakers. I then have to go to the sound prefs in the menu bar and select Airplay from there. Previously they worked independently of each other, meaning that if I wanted to hear something on my mac i would just have to turn the volume down In Music app. Anyone know how to fix this or having the same issue?

Airplay intermittent after updating MacBook Air to Sonoma 14.0 After the OS update, Airplay will work for a couple of songs, then silence. The track is still playing but no sound. Fast forwarding to the next track gets sound happening again until the next glitch. I'm sending music to a Sonos Port, which is up to date firmware wise. Cheers.
