Why are my Apple Podcasts are skipping on iPhone 16 Pro Max?

Just *** my new phone this week & my podcasts all skip. I’ve tried everything. Any suggestions?

Apple Podcasts iOS - Add to Queue not working At some point in the last 45 days or so, Add To Queue stopped adding episodes to queue. Up Next still works. Steps to Reproduce: Launch Apple Podcasts on iPhone (I'm on the latest app version and iOS version as of today (17.3)) Latest Episodes Next to the episode that you want to add the to queue, click the ... button Download Episode Add To Queue Phone shows Added To Queue message Click on the currently-playing/paused episode to see the queue Carefully, without accidentally tapping on any of the queued episodes, scroll to the bottom of the queue Notice that the episode was not added to the queue (at the bottom or anywhere else)

Podcast Add to Queue Not Working and Play Next not working Steps to reproduce: In the podcast app, go to the episode in library that you want to add to the queue, tap the three dots, tap “Add to Queue”. The “Added to Queue” message pops up. Then navigate to the Queue and see that the episode has not been added. same steps as above, except tap “Play Next”. The “Playing Next” message pops up. But the episode is not added to the “Up Next” queue. My Queue was full of random episodes which the app had automatically placed on the queue. I deleted all but three of these from the queue, but this has not fixed the problem. I also turned off my iPhone and turned it back on. This also did not help. my wife has the exact same problem on her iPhone, which is a different generation, so it is not a problem with my phone in specific.

Ditto on my 15 Pro and this is a recent thing I came here because I think this is an app/infrastructure problem not your phone or mine.

Interesting. I’ve tried literally everything. Updates, delete Bluetooth, add Bluetooth back, etc. my old phone wasn’t doing it. Bought new phone last Saturday & it’s been ever since.
