I have several PDFs that I need to convert to images for a project. I opened a PDF in Preview and tried exporting it to JPG, but it only exported the first page. I also tried to select all the pages before exporting, but it's still the same. Very frustrating. What should I do to convert all pages in my PDFs into separate images?

Use a converter, such as Adobe: https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/pdf-to-jpg.html
PDFs can also contain images, or can be text-based, so there may be (or,are) other options.
Preview exports pages into jpeg one by one. I use a shortcut to convert pdf to images and it works in the right-click menu. I don't remember where I got it, but I think you could find it with a simple search. Some PDF online tools or PDF editors can also do this.
Thanks for the suggestions! My PDF has quite a few pages, so taking screenshots would be a bit of a pain for me. I also tried the Adobe link you shared, but it wouldn't let me upload the file—it says it's either too large or too complex. Any other ideas?
You can open the pdf in Preview. Make sure it shows the thumbnails for each page along the side. Then you can select one page and drag it onto the desktop (or some other folder) and that page alone will appear on the desktop. You can repeat this for additional pages.

I found a shortcut. Not sure if that's the one you are using but it fails all the time. I don't know what I set up wrong. Are there any PDF editors that can do this for free or on a cheap plan?
Acrobat is the first choice. If you want a free one, PDFgear claims to be a free PDF editor. Smallpdf should also work for you as an online tool.
