Music didn’t download to iPhone 16 Pro

I downloaded my iPhone 11 to the cloud when purchasing a new iPhone 16 Pro. I the downloaded from the cloud to my iPhone 16 Pro. All 800+ songs disappeared.

Music in the music app is not included in backups. As it's either synced from a computer, comes from purchases made on the iTunes Store or from Apple Music and can be recovered from the specific source directly in either of the 3 cases.


Where did this music originally come from?


For purchases see the following support document:

click here ➜ Redownload music from the iTunes Store on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


For synced content from a computer, you will need to sync it again from there.

For Apple Music subscription service tracks, make sure Sync Library is turned on in Settings ➜ Apps ➜ Music
