Why Music won’t some music /videos download after getting a new phone?

Apple Music - Sometimes songs and videos won’t download after you have gotten them before and you end up getting a new phone and do a phone to phone transfer then interrupt the Apple Music song/video download process.  This may also happen after to songs/videos after you either delete the downloads or interrupt them and then try again later.  What happens is it shows it’s about to download but doesn’t actually do it.

Hello ryan867.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Sounds like you're experiencing downloading issues when using Apple Music. If so, we'd like to share some helpful steps you can attempt in order to try to resolve this issue. First, try to force close the Music app: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then, you'll want to restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If you're using an iPhone X, 11, 12, or 13:

1.) Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2.) Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3.)To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

After your device restarts, connect to a strong reliable Wi-Fi network and test again: Connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

We hope this information is helpful. Cheers.
