Airdrop not working MacBook Pro with Sierra

I can send/receive from all other devices (iPhone, iMac), but laptop won’t show anyone or show up on any other device. Settings doesn’t give me option to be discovered at bottom of window like it should. Tried all normal troubleshooting.

My mac wont accept or send airdrops I have been trying to airdrop things to my Mac and it will continuously say it failed. when I try to send things using my Mac it doesn't go through. I have tried to turn it on and off (Macbook and airdrop) and it still doesn't change anything. I don't remember when it started but I would like it fixed. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can get my airdrop to work?

AirDrop Not working on 2015 Mac I have an early 2015 Mac Running Monterey 12.7.1 and I am having problems receiving or sending AirDrops. I have tried toggling off the wifi and the bluetooth. I have tried changing Airdrop from only contacts to Everyone. I can confirm I am connected to the same wifi network on both devices. My computer and phones are both up to date. I can see the phone trying to AirDrop to my computer but nothing happens. I have even turned OFF phone to stop potential interference as well. Who has some ideas of what to do?

Please Identify your MacBook Pro model. There were some caveats specific for older Macs.
