How do I prevent Final Cut Pro's Continuous title option from cutting off after a certain length?

Using the installed animated title option called Continuous, which comes with the basic Final Cut Pro installation-- I've found it cuts off after a certain length. If I reduce type size, kern the type or use a narrower font, it works fine, but I want uniform appearance through a movie with many titles. Here's an image of what I see. I'm using compound clips to make it easy to keep fonts and font sizes identical. I duplicate each compound clip as needed and rewritten them. Using Sequoia 15.3.2 on a Mac Mini. Any help appreciated.

That sort of thing would happen if you created the Compound Clip in one aspect ratio project and tried to use it in a different aspect ratio project. For example, I created the Continuous title in a 9:16 (vertical) project, created a CC then applied it to a 16:9 (horizontal) project and got the same result as you are showing.

Could this be the case?

If you select the Compound Clip (as you said you are saving it to reuse the settings) you can Break Apart Clip Items (⌘⇧G) and simply use the Title (with all your saved font settings) in place. The title will then take on the boundaries of your current project. Break Apart Clip Items will not remove your CC from your Event and you can continue to use the saved settings.
