How to stop 'Facetime can't be provided in your country or Region' notification on Apple Watch?

Background - Iphone15 + - iOS version 18.3

Apple watch Series 10 (GPS + Cellular) - Watch OS Version 11.3.1 (22S560)

Country Region Selected in App Store - United Arab Emirates

Problem - Every day this notification occupies the screen and I have to click 3-4 times (Click ok) and then it vanishes. I'm not using facetime or anything. This is just in idle mode.

I'm not trying to use facetime or anything. This happens everyday atleast 3-4 times.

If you would have bought both devices in the same country, you would not get this message.

The iPhone and Apple Watch are supposed to be used in the country of purchase, so that there would not be any firmware or hardware issues, if it comes to carrier supported features, for example.

FaceTime is tied to your Apple Account on your iPhone, for example.

And, since you can also make and receive FaceTime audio calls on your watch, watchOS will check for the FaceTime activation from time to time.

If your carrier does not support FaceTime, you will also get this error message on your watch:

watchOS and iOS are country specific. Where did you buy your devices?

If the carrier in your region does not allow the use of FaceTime, there is not much Apple can do about that.

However, if you use the Feedback link, you can reach out to Apple directly and tell them about your wishes for future updates.

I'm afraid, if you do not want to disable FaceTime on your iPhone, your watch will continue to get these messages.

No. Should i do that?/

I use facetime sometimes via VPN or when i'm using my home network. I don't want to disable Facetime.

But facetime has no relation with the apple watch. right??? I don't use watch for calling or anything.

I bought the apple watch from UAE. and Iphone from India.

I'm okay with apple watch not providing Facetime. Just would be helpful, if this notification doesn't block my screen every once in while.

Did you disable FaceTime on your paired iPhone in Settings/Apps/FaceTime?

Okay. There should be a feature like (mirror from iphone) for facetime. I guess everyone in UAE must be facing this issue.
