Upon upgrading to 18.4, user lost service. Recently downloaded Apple Support did not detect any issue with service. The following solutions were tested:

turn on Airplane mode, waited 15s, turn it off > No Service
2. go to Settings > Cellular > No On/Off toggle for Cellular > Unable to check Service
3. Hard reboot > Service restored. On/Off toggle for Cellular in Settings is displayed.
Said user should contact their cellular data provider.
No Service means that your iPhone cannot connect to the cell signal from your carrier.
Temporarily, you will need to use another phone to contact Customer Support at your carrier to ask them to troubleshoot the connection from their service to your phone.
This is a bug issue not carrier
