How to restore dark mode in Safari on my iPhone 11 running iOS 15?

My phone (iphone11, ios15)has been on dark mode for years. Today I had to restart it, and suddenly, the google search in safari is in light mode. The top and bottom bars are dark, but the page itself is light, while it used to be black before today. Restarting it again and changing the light modes in the system settings did not change anything.

I rarely use my screen at night. Only if I really can’t sleep or am up late doing something urgent where I need to look up info. I discovered that since the update to iOS 16, if I Safari> Search> Google (not signed into Google App or account) while in Dark Mode, the setting for Google in its own interface menu goes to Dark Mode, but it STICKS there when my phone goes back to Light Mode. I have to manually change it back on the Google page. Is this a known issue?

Problem with status bar disappearing I have an iPhone 16, and whenever I have my iPhone in dark mode and go to certain websites on safari the status bar with the time and WiFi and all that will disappear. Is anyone else having this problem?

Tab Bar switches to white while in dark mode on safari While on some webpages the tab bar will first appear in dark mode, however, when you scroll down and the AA/Refresh buttons disappear, it turns back to white. When the tab bar is at the bottom of the phone, the top and the bottom both turn white after scrolling. Is this a webpage issue or is there a way I can fix this?
