Tab Bar switches to white while in dark mode on safari

While on some webpages the tab bar will first appear in dark mode, however, when you scroll down and the AA/Refresh buttons disappear, it turns back to white. When the tab bar is at the bottom of the phone, the top and the bottom both turn white after scrolling. Is this a webpage issue or is there a way I can fix this?

White line on top of Safari so I updated my devices to IOS 17.2 and when I watch videos on video servers on Safari, after I updated, this strange white bar started appearing on top of safari on the video servers, blocking the battery percentage, time, date, etc. any thoughts or solutions?

Safari tabs close too easily when I’m not even swiping With the newest iPhone update, for some reason, my safari tabs are so much more sensitive to closing. Whenever I am just scrolling through my open tabs page, the slightest motion causes tabs to randomly close. It’s very frustrating because it’s never done this before. I know swiping is supposed to close the tabs, but it’s highly sensitive now unlike before and closes so easily when I’m not trying to close them. Any way to turn off the “swipe to close tabs” in safari, or suggestions to fix this? Thank you!

Hi there lNyx_Cl,

We see you have a concern with Safari on your iPhone using Dark Mode, particularly with a tab bar or after scrolling a webpage for a bit. One thing to be aware of is some websites don't support Dark Mode depending on the developer.

Some steps to start with that will often resolve an issue is to restart your iPhone and check for any iOS updates.

Restart your iPhone

Update your iPhone or iPad

If the issue persists, reply back with which specific websites are showing this or if it's all of them.
