How can I adjust the margins on the latest version of Numbers for iPad 2025?

I searched everywhere to find the answer to this with no luck. I think I finally figured it out by trial and error.


While there is actually no settings to go to, to set precise margins, for example, 0.5” from left side of page or 1” from the top, you can move your table around by following what I’ve listed below.


Click anywhere in your spreadsheet table. In the left hand corner there should be a little blue circle within a gray circle. It should be just to the left of Column A and right above Header Row. Without taking your finger off this circle, just move it around either left, right, up or down. You can then go into the Print Preview to see where it is.

I am the author of the original post but for some reason I’m not able to edit it so I’m adding this as a follow up. The last sentence should read, “You can then go into the Print Preview to see where your margins have been set.”
