How do I disable the typing sound when texting on my iPhone?

Yes, that is apparently what they are referring to. But I can find nothing from Apple, which supports your assertion that in some regions/countries, keyboards sounds cannot be muted. Can you enlighten us?

Thank you for admitting, in a roundabout way, that you didn't understand the question. They didn't ask about the shutter sound. And by your post, you acknowledged it was the Keyboard sound as this is what you typed exactly:

I dont know how it would be possible but as far as I know, the camera shutter sound is the only one that can't be silenced in certain countries.

I'm still waiting for TheLittles to validate where Apple says that keyboard sounds can't be turned off in some regions/countries.......
