Audio interface/ Mac Studio issues!

I need help!

i have a Focusrite 18i20 and a Mac Studio. I play drums, use earthworks mics etc.

usually no issues but the other day i opened Logic Pro x and when i started monitoring myself, the sound kept skipping and cutting in and out repeatedly and fast! I couldn’t figure it out. I opened YouTube and played output through my interface and same thing. All audio the same way when using interface for output.

I went into my interface app and changed to just hardware inputs and it worked fine but any audio routing into the interface is distorted and skips.

I turned off my phantom power. Plugged and un plugged. Checked settings. Checked audio midi. Restarted computer, unplugged everything and nothing is fixing it. The other day for a brief 30 minutes it worked fine and then went back to the same issues. I’m at a complete lost at where the issue is. Don’t think it’s my interface and don’t think it’s logic as the issue is outside logic.

yes I checked the orange mic and made sure it was on standard.
