when i was forced to change from itunes to apple music almost all my album covers were gone and my music library was duplicated many many times.How do i fix this?

When did this happen? You can revert to iTunes by uninstalling Apple Music/TV/Devices. If needs be you can reinstall iTunes from this direct link:
Should your iTunes library contain duplicates see Duplicate songs in iTunes - Apple Community for advice on cleaning those up. (It is much less easy to do in Apple Music.)

iTunes does that when Apple Music, Apple TV or Apple Devices are installed. You have to uninstall any of the three which have been installed or iTunes is limited to audiobooks and podcasts. Once removed you can select Music again from the media selection control at the top left.

My problem is that itunes stoped accepting mp3 and accepting only audio books, so i had to change to apple music and then everything got mixed up lost and dublicated
