How can I stop persistent Wi-Fi Calling notification on Mac with iPhone 16e?

Just purchased a new iPhone 16e and set it up and now constantly get this notification on the mac. Running 15.3.2

Tried turning off notifications for Facetime (and the notifications still keep coming)

My carrier is Verizon if that matters and Wi-Fi calling is enabled on the iPhone.

Please, how do I make this stop? I called Apple Support and they said turning off notifications for Facetime and rebooting would fix it, as you can see it did not.
