After my move, I have finally pulled my macOS Sierra version 10.12.6, but keep running into the problem that I need to update my browsers... But I am unable to find and update.

Correct, Sierra does not support any modern web browsers except iCab and Waterfox.
Omniweb stopped support in Sierra, and could very well be out of date to current security standards.

A Firefox Extended Support Release could perhaps be of interest.

Thanks for pointing that out. ESR originally only gave me the option to load on Mojave. Glad to see that's expanded.
You're welcome! Firefox ESR can be quite useful, and not only for Mac. An approximately fifteen year old Windows 7 laptop is by now at 115.21.0esr and works well with most web sites.
