How to exit Switch Control configuration screen on iPhone with broken on/off button?

I wanted to configure Apple Pay without using the side button (because it’s broken) and followed a tutorial from Apple to configure Switch Control. I don’t know how it happened but due to an invalid configuration the iPhone is now stuck in the Switch Control item scan screen. The only way to get out of that screen is by pressing the on/off button 3 times, but that button is broken…

I’ve tried to reset the iPhone with Find My and connecting it to my MacBook. However, the iPhone is not connected with Wifi anymore, Siri is not available and I have the setting enabled where the iPhone doesn't let me connect to my MacBook without unlocking my phone first. 

So I’m stuck in this loop hole and don’t know what to do. I’ve searched internet but can’t find any similar cases like this. Apple and Apple certified repair shops are not able to help. Repairing the side button is not worth it as the costs (the entire phone housing needs to be replaced) don’t weigh up to the current value of the phone.

If anyone has an idea to fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
