IOS 17.5.1 issues blamed on hardware
I too started having Wifi and Bluetooth issues shortly after updating to iOS 17.5.1. Never had issues with my iPhone 13 mini until I updated as I had only been using it for four weeks. I had purchased it brand new from a seller; it was still in the box with all the original stickers in place. It wasn't too bad until this last week when my phone would turn itself off after 3 minutes of using either Wifi or Bluetooth. I did a factory reset and had the same problems.
I took it to the Apple store and their diagnosis was to change out the rear end of the phone because it was malfunctioning and it will cost me $300+ to do so. I have read so many threads on here with the same or similar issues after updating to iOS 17.5.1, but according to the store that couldn't have been the cause. They also claimed that the phone had issues in August 2023 with the cellular, but when I went in and looked at the history on my phone, no repairs were listed.
When will Apple realize that their quick fix of the iOS 17 bug has caused massive other issues?
