Outlook Web error using Safari 18.3.1 Error is Cannot Parse Response

When I first login to Outlook on the web, everything is fine but after a few minutes, if I try to load an email, it will not load and if I refresh Outlook I get an error message which says Safari Cannot open the page https://Outlook.office.com (etc. etc.) Error is: "Cannot Parse Response" NSURLErrorDomain:-1,017. If I quit Safari altogether it will work ok for a short time and then the same thing happens again. It is quite frustrating.

Great! Maybe a problem with Safari. I can’t use Chrome because I have a different Outlook mailbox running on Chrome and I don’t want to sign in and out of it everytime. I should be able to use Safari, so how do I and the other people having this problem fix it?

Interestingly, outlook works fine in Chrome which leads me to believe that it is a Safari problem.
