How to make a Landscape/Horizontal custom gesture

I am using an Iphone 13 Pro

From accessibility>Voice control>commands>custom>action>run custom gesture

Or in short making a custom gesture using voice command, a tip says

“For best results, rotate the device to the same orientation that you intend to use when replaying the gesture.”

How do i rotate my device/settings into horizontal/landscape?

(For context purpose the landscape is the charging port on the left)

Trying to rotate the screen doesn’t work, and trying to press the location i intend to press (Bottom right from a landscape POV, Top right from a Portrait POV) Doesn’t work, the command simply get stuck on the half left/bottom side of the screen.

Please help, thank you.

Wondering, if you can't rotate the screen while attempting to create the custom gesture:

... does rotating the screen first, (even locking it in place if necessary ?) before creating the custom gesture work for you.

Else: if needed: you can check with Apple's experts for help with this feature:

See: How to contact Apple for help with accessibility features - Apple Support

or

Apple's Accessibility Support Website

(NB: You can "Get Support" from the link at the bottom of their website:

Wondering if Apple Support's online article can help;

Rotate your iPhone screen - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Many apps give you a different view when you rotate iPhone.

Rotate the screen

  1. To make sure the rotation lock is off, open Control Center, then tap if it’s red.
  2. Turn your iPhone sideways.

Lock or unlock the screen orientation

You can lock the screen orientation so that it doesn’t change when you rotate iPhone.

Open Control Center, then tap .

When the screen orientation is locked, appears in the status bar (on supported models). "

Thank you for the reply and sorry for the confusion, i perfectly understand how to rotate my screen into landscape mode. Though i am frustrated because the feature doesn’t “work” on an app that obliges you to go to landscape mode (eg: video games). I assume apples accomodates this giving a tip that says “For best results, rotate the device to the same orientation that you intend to use when replaying the gesture.”

But i am unsure how to access/do it. I am looking forward to your reply, thank you!
