No click during count in.

I've tried everything. I've read posts. I've checked and unchecked boxes. I can't get the click to sound during the count in. I've been using Logic many years, and I've never had this problem.

Please, how can I fix this. I need to get some projects done.

This is a brand new version from scratch that I paid for on a new computer. I've had a faculty version on one MacBook in the past, and another full version that was shared with me on another MacBook about 10 years ago. I got a Mac Studio and just decided to start over. Plus it's version 11 which has a lot of changes.

This does happen with new sessions. I tried to create a template. I'm doing a series of jazz songs with a singer, so I do basic tracks, then she does vocals, then I go back and redo the music. I thought it was happening as I was re-using the same tracks over and over. Then I tried the templates, and it did it there. Then I started from scratch with a blank project, and it does it.

I kind of think it's just a new quirk. For some reason the click is muted until the actual bar zero hits. I can live with this, and just start everything at Bar 2 or bar 4, and leave blank bars before the song. It just means the bar numbers are off, but it's OK. I will sometimes end up putting some music before bar zero anyway, or add more of an intro later. There's probably a way to renumber the bars too that I should already be familiar with. I've taken some time off from working with Logic the last few years, so I get rusty.

Thanks,

Lincoln
