How do you get unbanned from a Snapchat SS07 ban?

I was banned a few months from too many accounts because I had let my friends use my device as they no longer could access Snapchat on their phone because of parents. But due to my kindness now I’m banned but they aren’t. Is there any way to fix this? I uninstalled the app about 2 months ago and just tried again today to no avail. I haven’t been able to have Snapchat because of parents until I turned 18 and had the app for maybe a month before getting banned. I just want to be normal and have Snapchat. Anyone help me please!

The iPhone itself does not restrict access to third-party apps unless specific permissions or conditions are unmet. However, if a third-party app blocks a device due to violations such as improper usage or bypassing community guidelines, that restriction is imposed by the app developers, not Apple. Apple has no control over decisions made by third-party apps regarding account or device bans.

Any social networking app typically bans devices or users for violating its community guidelines or terms of service. Some common reasons for bans may include:

  1. Creating multiple accounts on the same device for a social media platform can lead to the device being flagged or banned.Creating multiple account from the same device.
  2. If one account is banned, creating additional accounts from the same device may be seen as an attempt to circumvent the ban, leading to further restrictions or a device-level ban.
  3. Social media platforms monitor activity patterns to prevent abuse, spam, and violations of community guidelines. Multiple accounts originating from the same device can trigger automated systems as suspicious behavior, particularly if the accounts engage in spamming, bot-like behavior, or policy violations.
  4. Sharing explicit or inappropriate content, nudity, violence, or hate speech can lead to a ban.
  5. Platforms track IP addresses and use device fingerprinting techniques to identify and monitor devices. Creating and switching between multiple accounts from a single device can raise red flags.
  6. Engaging in spamming activities, sending unsolicited messages, or using third-party apps to automate actions on the app can result in a ban.
  7. Creating fake accounts, impersonating others, or using someone else's identity without permission violates their policies.
  8. Sharing or promoting illegal activities, including drug sales, harassment, or threats, can lead to a ban.
  9. Harassing, bullying, or intimidating other users can result in severe consequences, including a ban.
  10. Any breach of app's terms of service or community guidelines can lead to device or account bans.

A few social networking apps have automated systems and human moderators that detect and take action against accounts or devices that violate these policies. Depending on the severity of the violation, the ban can range from temporary suspension to permanent removal of the account or device from the platform.

No they didn't. They got themselves banned and blamed their parents. Then they proceeded to do the same things on your phone that got them banned and ended up getting you banned.

Never, never, EVER let anyone else use your accounts for anything.

A lesson in life, and in trust.

If those people had access, they wouldn’t have asked. They knew exactly what they were doing, too.

You are very lucky the damage was as limited as this apparently was.

Maybe the damage is limited, that is.

Though there could be monetary or reputational damage awaiting discovery.

Your passwords and passcodes are quite possibly compromised, too.

And when you get older and when your kids or grandkids want access to your gear play their games, now you know not to offer it. A number of folks that have loaned their devices have gotten in far worse messes, with their most precious photos irrevocably deleted, passwords copied, payment cards expended, and much, much worse. Those without backups have had some or all of their data lost, too. Or their devices “oops” destroyed, and without reimbursement.

TL;DR: Find another social media service. Find friends you can trust too, because these folks aren’t your friends. And don’t loan out your gear. Not gear that you ever want back, or ever want to use again.
