Trying to transfer data to new SSD

Hi,

I'm having big trouble trying to install a time machine 2.25Tb backup from an external HD to my AcasisTBU405 pro containing a 4TB WD Black SN850X SSD which is connected to a Mac Mini 4 (245gig).

I've tried CCC, a manual install, restore and migration assistant, but the acasis seems to disconnect itself during all of these processes. The SSD is connected via thunderbolt 4

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

If you are attempting to move your TM backups to a new drive you cannot do this. You must start a new TM backup or erase the old one and start over. CCC cannot do this and you cannot manually do this with any success.
