Change directory icon on Finder Preferred Bar

In the Finder sidebar I have inserted a new directory that has its own icon.

Unfortunately, the custom folder icon does not appear on the Finder sidebar but the generic one.

This only happens in the sidebar.

What can I do? I tried to delete and recreate but nothing...
