When we print to one printer, even from a different computer from different applications, the word "PDF" prints even on top of other things on the upper left corner. Tried restarting printer and computers. Ran through every setting on printer and computers. Randomly started, possibly after switching to adobe pdf reader, but that was since uninstalled and problem continues. Help!

B. Scan your Mac with Malwarebytes for Mac:

In your Printer panel on macOS, do you have a watermark set to stamp PDF on that printed output? Apple's standard watermark will not appear in the upper-left corner of the output, but your HP driver may offer that as an option.
It might help us to help you if you identify the make and model of the printer.
Printer is HP laser jet pro MFP M479fdw. Couldn't determine anything of relevance in user manual.
