Hey everyone,
Is anyone else experiencing issues updating their iPhone to iOS 18 using a Windows computer? I’ve heard that some users are facing errors where the update process freezes or even requires DFU mode.
Does this issue still happen with the latest version of iTunes and Apple Devices Support? If anyone has found a solution, I’d really appreciate your help!

A lot of people here prior were reporting being unable to update from iOS 17 to 18 via iTunes. That seemed to be the primary issue reported here.
Though I don't update that way my version of iTunes wasn't offering the ability to update as well, but since moving to 18 it offers subsequent updates in 18.
I had also issues to install the iOS 18 with iTunes, it got stuck and I got the message error 53. And I struggle to get rid of this error, I did more or less everything what I could find in the web, no solution with all the notes from Apple. Now since one day I find a solution, the software calls 3uTools.
And now I have my old phone back!
