External headphones no longer work after iOS 18.3.2 update

I use my Bose headphones with my iPad Pro daily by connecting them through my charging port. After iOS update 18.3.2 yesterday, my headphones no longer work. I can still use them with my android phone and older iPads that haven’t been updated. So it’s not a problem with my headphones. When plugged in, I hear some weird knocking/clicking on the left side and that’s it. HELP!

Same, I confirmed Apple products work with my IPhone. Quite frustrating as I can hear only for a small time through the left ear then it turns off.
