iPhone Call Recording only recorded my voice and not other party

I was conducting an interview and used the call recording feature.

Call went on for 30 minutes and it uploaded to the notes app perfectly fine. I listened to the first few seconds and I could hear the other party just fine. But then I was trying to get the transcription of the call and was looking for the options and wasn't able to find it.

But then when I went to listen to the call again, the recording of the other person was just gone and it was just me talking to myself.

What's weird is that I can still see the waveform of the other person talking in the notes app, but I can't hear them. When I export the audio file and try to open it in something like voice memos or Garageband, the other person's waveform is also missing.

This is what I see in the notes app, I cannot hear that inital waveform.

This is what I see in Voice Memos

It seems like the notes app just "lost" the audio track of the other person, but it seems like it might be in there somewhere based on the waveform?

Is there anyway I can recover the audio from the other person?

Thanks!
