I'm not able to acuratly monitor signal from my summing mixer in Logic Pro x

I'm using Apple M1 16GB memory, os Sequoia 15.1.1, Universal Audio Apollo and Phoenix Nicerizer summing mixer.

I’m not able to monitor the signal from My Nicerizer through studio monitors. I have to plug headphones into the Nicerizer to hear its effect. I have enabled software monitoring and if I press the "I" button in the track it makes no difference.

My track routing is for instance, Output to channel 1, Apollo channel 1 output to channel 1 input of the Nicerizer. L and R outputs of the Nicerizer are routed to Apollo inputs 7 and 8. I created a new track named Print and the inputs are set to 7/8. With the record button on I can see signal coming from the nicerizer. When I turn the output control of the Nicerizer I can hear the change in volume through my monitors but not the pan pot or db button. All functions of the nicerizer can be heard through its headphone jack however.

I have rechecked my cables many times and they are functioning and routed correctly. I'm not sure if the solution lies with Logic, UA Apollo or Nicerizer.

I think the console I/O routing may be the answer. I'm reading up on the subject as I'm not sure how to rout to ADAT. When you say input 9-10 I'm a little confused. I have an Apollo 8 and I'm sending the L and R output from the Nicerizer to the Apollo inputs 7-8 in order to print from the summing mixer. I'm sorry if I'm not making clear sense.
