Will the new black Magic Keyboard for iPad Air be released soon?

I just bought the Magic Keyboard less than 2 weeks ago and today, Apple launched a brand new Magic Keyboard with new keys that I have been wishing were on the previous Magic Keyboard (the one I just bought). I really love the black keyboard, but I was disappointed to see that the brand new keyboard only comes in white.

I am still in the return window for my current keyboard and I was wanting to figure out if they will be launching the black color for the new iPad Air Magic Keyboard soon! Not sure if the new function keys for brightness, locking the iPad, and changing the sound are worth it if they don’t have the black color… I’d love some help!

Apple hasn't made any announcement about a black keyboard for the iPad Air. Their announcement at Apple introduces iPad Air with powerful M3 chip and new Magic Keyboard - Apple doesn't mention one.

This is primarily a user-to-user support forum; other Apple users like you. We don't have any information about unannounced future products. You may want to contact Apple directly but until a product is actually announced, I doubt that will help either.

It is an odd move to only have a White iPad Air Magic keyboard. I have just ordered an M2 new on sale in 11inch size and I would like the keyboard in back. Seeing white Apple Keyboard cases on eBay I don't think they hold up as well as black as they will show the dirt quicker IMHO. I might well hang on to WWDC they may well announce one in due course.
