How to import .mp3 music and .m3u8 playlist from PC to iPhone?

I want to copy my .mp3 music files, teh same i have been using for decades now, from my PC to my iPhone. I have a custom m3u8 playlist for that, that i can conveniently and efficently manage via players like Foobar for instance. But nowadays,

  • Itunes does not manage .mp3 anymore
  • Apple Music does not let me import .m3u8 playlists.

Does it mean that i have to eff-ing re-create my whole 6000+ titles playlist BY HAND in the Apple Music app ITSELF ?

Is there really no way to just *plainly simply import* a .m3u8 playlist ?

The solution is to uninstall Apple Music, Apple Devices, and Apple TV so that you can revert to iTunes. Once those three apps are removed iTunes is restored to its former glory, otherwise it is limited to managing audiobooks and podcasts.
