I frequently need to invert my selections in Finder. I'm running Sonoma 14.6.1. Does anyone know of a quick key to make that happen? It seems like pretty basic functionality that many people would use, but they don't see that as an option in the drop-down menu. This would be a big timesaver. If you know how to make that happen, please share!

If creating an AppleScript seems cumbersome and you prefer a quick method using your mouse:
1. Select the items you want to keep (hold Command and click to select multiple items).
2. Drag and select a rectangle around the Finder window to select all items, holding down the Shift key to unselect those you already selected.
You're welcome. I can't see how it would be useful for the general public but you can always send requests to Apple.

I don't know of any such feature but you should update to Sonoma 14.7.4.
That's unfortunate. It seems like a simple and useful addition. I plan on updating to Sequoia soon. Thank you.
