Apple Watch Face photos zoomed in

I used to be able to see the entire photo on my watch face without adjusting the photo aspect, size, etc. Now, however (after the latest update), all photos are zoomed in really close and therefore crop out 50-75% of the picture. I've looked through all the settings to try to zoom back out to the full photo, adjusted the complications to see if they took up too much room to properly display the photo, anything and everything I can think of, but nothing works. Is this just a glitch from the last update and if so will it be fixed in an update down the road?
