Why are my uploaded songs disappearing from Apple Music on Mac?

Apple music is interfering with my music.

Many playlists or songs in my playlist are disappearing from my Macpro.

WHY?

Most of the music is music I’ve uploaded from MY CDs - I own the right to the music by me buying the CD and or Vinyl.

I don’t subscribe to Apple Music. I’m left over from the GOOD I-Pod days when I had FULL control of MY music. I try to stay signed out.

the amount of effort put in to recorrecting and redoing playlists means I have to seriously give up Apple.

lots of recipes and ways around it but I don’t find these to be stable, something is always something going on to mess things up.

I suspect, Apple wants us all over onto subscribed music.. but why, Spotify is better… What they really need to do is to have 2 modes an I-Pod mode and a subscribed mode.. They need to stop messing around!
