Problem with disappearing APPLE MUSIC songs

Hi. I have an up-to-date subscription with Apple Music but lately, I have lost a few previously downloaded songs. Sometimes, songs that have been downloaded never appear in my files. I use Big Sur 11.7.10. Any suggestions please?

Check iCloud Music Library: Ensure that iCloud Music Library is enabled on your iMac. This feature syncs your music library across all your devices, so if you've added songs on one device, they should appear on others. Go to System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud and make sure iCloud Music Library is turned on.

Check Download Settings: Confirm that your Apple Music settings are configured to download songs for offline listening. Open the Music app, go to Music > Preferences > General, and check the settings for Downloads. Ensure that "Download songs added to library" is selected.
