If you haven't already done so:

✽ You may want to first update your new iPhone to the newest IOS update:

Eg: About iOS 18 Updates - Apple Support says: iOS 18.3.2

"This update provides important bug fixes, security updates,

and addresses an issue that may prevent playback of some streaming content."

NB: It is always wise to back-up your data before updating iOS:

Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services, such as the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime and more.

✽ Check you are signed in (to your iPhone) with you correct Apple ID and password you use for FaceTime:

✽ Check you have a "Contacts card" for yourself listed in the Contacts app:

✽ Check you have set-up FaceTime so you can be reached:

Eg: says:

"To get started with FaceTime, go to Settings  > Apps > FaceTime, then sign in to your Apple Account or turn on FaceTime. If more than one contact method appears below “You can be reached by FaceTime at,” you can tap to select or deselect it."
