No output channel strip

I'm trying to bounce/export a track and its telling me there is no output channel strip. I have my interface set as input and output. When I try to open a new project, I only have the option to choose 'External MIDI' as the project type. This has never happened before. I'm having trouble trying to find a solution to this.

Exporting multiple midi sections as audio and volumes don't reflect as I fixed them I am trying to export two midi tracks into one audio track. I lowered the velocity of one instrument versus the other. When I export the two midi tracks as audio none of that is taken into account. Meaning that the velocity and volume of both tracks appears to be totally unchanged regardless of the changes I made. What am I doing wrong? I tested to the extreme, ie one instrument at 100 velocity and high volume (+5.3), the other at 16 velocity and very low volume (-22.5), yet, on export to audio nothing changes. Also, how can I see several different midi parts on different tracks in the midi list editor? Thank you.

Audio Midi Set Up Missing "built-in output" I'm trying to set up Quicktime to record sound from the screen and I can't get the built-in output option in the audio midi set up. I found this strand about how to fix this, but the solution to "right-click and select 'use this device for sound output'" does not work. When I do that, the "use this device for sound output" is grayed out and I can't figure out how to make this work. Any suggestions?

Recording midi in Logic Pro on aux tracks Since today, I can't record any midi anymore on my aux tracks of my multi instruments. I can still record midi on the first track (the instrument track), but when I start recording the other tracks (on aux tracks), I see the recordings appear, I hear the sounds allright, but when I stop recording, the region that was created just disappears again and there's no recording. I didn't change any settings, and I don't know what is causing this. Thanks! Johan

Hi there

Go to Logic Pro>Settings>Audio Devices tab.

Select your audio interface of the I/O device and enable Core Audio by checking it on

You should also go to

Logic Pro>Settings>Advanced

Enable Complete Features
