If I go and clear the open sites on my destop I can get into marketplace once, then when I come back to the desk top and try going back to marketplace I get the blank white page again. Need help on this one thanks

My iPad is on IOS 18.3.1 and Facebook marketplace will show a blank page. I have deleted App and reinstalled, nothing. Facebook marketplace listing will display if I restart the iPad. However, it will work for a very short time. This started less than a week ago. Thanks.

If I turn the Active Status off on my iPad and click on an ad in my FB feed a vertical line comes up with a heart icon below. (Heart icon is for saving adds). Turn the Active Status back on… click on an ad and the ad shows properly. This doesn’t happen on my iPhone. I can view all ads whether the Active Status is on or off.

As suggested by someone else...As an example: If you are using the landscape view turn your iPad to the portrait view and then back to landscape and FB Marketplace will re-appear. Worked for me and is a lot easier and quicker method to use until either Facebook or Apple fixes this bug. Hope this helps others. PS I am using iOS 18.3.2

I don’t know what is going on with the white Marketplace page or who’s problem it is, I guess whoever has the problem doesn’t care about us the customers. I get so tired of trying to post on this site, I first posted the question on the white page.

If I don’t post a reply to your question it’s because I get tired of trying to post here.

If it is a facebook issue, then why does it work after shutting my iPad down? Marketplace works until it doesn’t. I just updated to iOS 18.3.2 and hoped it would fix the problem but it did not. I am not shutting down and restarting every time I want to go on Marketplace.

Same here. Started about a week ago. Ok on my iphone, not working on my new iPad. Solution please Apple.

Apple can't fix an issue with Facebook Apps.

Facebook currently have a number of issues with their Apps for iPad and iPhone - and, unfortunately, Meta (that owns Facebook) have a particularly poor record of timely fixes for issues of their own making.

You (and others) need to contact Meta Support - and vent your frustration there.

OMG — people!! This totally works!!! I just upgraded to 18.3.2 on my iPad — marketplace still wouldn’t load. Deleted app, reinstalled. Same. Just tried turning ipad to portrait position and back to landscape — and Marketplace loaded! A little irritating — but it’s a temporary fix I can live with.

Apple please put a fix out for this problem.

FYI, Apple won't see comment in these user-to-user forums. Use this feedback link instead:

Feedback - iPad - Apple

to place your concern before an Apple employee.

However, as much as we can hope Apple can help, from the dawn of the personal computer age it has been software developers who must make their products work on the platforms they wish to support, not the other way around.

The fact the I found similar frustration from Android users of FB Marketplace says that Apple cannot even access the code that causes it, but FB can, if they bother to do so.
