Unauthorized charge for ChatOn app download on iPhone

I downloaded the ChatOn app and was charged without my permission! I did not authorize this transaction, and I want a refund immediately.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Why do I keep getting in-app game charges that I did not make? I play one game on my iPhone where I make in-app purchases. I require a password for every purchase to prevent accidental charges. However I keep getting duplicate charges that I need to request refunds for. And today, I got two charges that I did not make at all. Unauthorized $70 charge by Ornament app An app named Ornament would not let me cancel my subscription and charged me $70 even though I never used the app or signed up for anything. All i did was get the app and their help desk is refusing to give me a refund. I need this money back. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

SIMPLE: Fasting App SCAM I signed up for the 1 week free trial and canceled the subscription and was never charged through apple although i have a receipt for the "free" purchase. The Simple App charged my paypal account tied to my apple ID $1 on the day i downloaded the app and then $79.20 on the 7th day (the day free trial ended). Apple will not help. They say they cannot refund me because i didnt pay through Apple. Yet they keep selling the app in the app store and the app store says that a yearly subscription is $29.99 if you dont cancel within the 7 days yet i was charged $80.

It sounds like you started a Free Trial for this service and forgot to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ended. When you start a free trial, you need to double click the side button with the free trial expiration date showing on the screen along with the subscription price and start date if you do not cancel. After double clicking the side button, verification is done by FaceID or Passcode.
