That won't be possible. Your iPhone X has stopped receiving the latest iOS software updates and cannot update past iOS 16.7.10 due to hardware limitations. You need at least an iPhone XR to run iOS 17, but note that all iPhones that are compatible with that also can run iOS 18.

1. This is a user to user forum. You are not addressing Apple here. As users, we have no say in what iOs updates a specific iPhone model gets. So we can't make iOS 17 available for your iPhone X.
2. The iPhone X lacks the hardware to correctly run iOS 17. If Apple was to make it available, it would probably cause your device to lag and freeze and make it unusable.

iOS 17 has been discontinued, so that is the end of that.

If you want to update to iOS 18, you need an iPhone XR or higher model, although I would recommend an iPhone 15 Pro or higher.

iOS 16 was the end of the update road for the iPhone X. Time to start looking for a new phone if you want new updates.
