USB C connectors fall out of IPhone 16 Pro Max. Charging cables, data transfer cables , and now expensive headsets. All work on iPad and other USB C devices.

I agree. I have been using a cleaning tool for years for lighting connectors. I purchased a usb c kit last year.

I am rather methodical. I place a black velvet on the table to see any dirt / dust that falls out. Then use the various soft plastic tools designed for the connectors. The lightning connectors catch a lot of junk. the usb c connectors, not so much.

I also make sure I check cables by Apple and other certified makers. My problem with usb c is now universal for iPhone. My iPad Pro, chargers, and Mac all snap in and hold.
