Why is Apple TV+ streaming only in 480p on my PC?

I have a pc with 4k capabilities (ryzen 5 3600, radeon 7700xt, updated drivers & browsers), I just enabled the apple tv+ subscription, and I can't get the streaming quality over 480p. My internet connection is great (200mbps fiber), I can stream perfectly fine in 1080p on netflix on any browser.

But the apple tv quality is terrible on chrome/edge browsers, and the store app also (I have the settings there to 1080p also)|

Tried searching for browser flags, all relevant are enabled.

Also tried restarting router/pc
