FaceTime not working after last update/mirroring iphone

my Facetime does not work correctly on my macbook air 15 after the last update. I can call and except calls but when i go to answer the call it either wont answer or you can still here it ringing. I feel like it has to do with the iphone mirroring option that i expected on the last update, and i have disabled it on my iphone like it says to, to see if that would fix it but it did not.

anyone else having this issue.

Facetime switch(hand-off) button doesn't appear on my iPad (mini 6) I can't transfer my facetime call from my iPhone(13 pro) (or Macbook(m1 air)) to my iPad(mini 6). handoff not working I can not get the handoff to work on facetime from my iphone to my mac. When on a facetime call on iphone and move next to mac the facetime icon does not appear on the menu bar on my mac?
