MacBook Air mouse pointer sensitivity issue in macOS Ventura

When trying to close a window, I have to position the pointer exactly on the center of the red dot. Even then, it often takes two or three tries to close the window. I often just use the keyboard shortcuts instead. This wasn't a problem until the latest release of Ventura. Any ideas?

That's strange. I have no idea why this would be. Does your mouse have a custom driver? Maybe there is an update for it?

As an alternative, you could use Command-W to close the window - or Command-Shift-W in case your window has multiple tabs and you want to close them all, and the window, in one go (for what it's worth, I rarely if ever click on any window red dot, because I have learned Command-W long ago - actually, in the previous century 😎)
